Oh to Volunteer, from Kara Sian Mason

by Kara Sian Mason
(New Zealand)

I read a quote the other day that made my heart kind of stop... It goes something like this; 'And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, 'Oh, there you are, I have been looking for you.' I stumbled across The Sanctuary after reading this quote, while dreaming about Mexico and I have fallen head over heels in love with the beautiful concept, purpose, and life force of this beautiful community.

I would love to volunteer at The Sanctuary from December 2013 or January 2014. I'm from New Zealand, a Dreamer, a Vegetarian, an Artist and an Interior Designer. This year I have been wandering around Europe and I have never been so happy, meeting people from all walks of life, experiencing new cultures, dancing around crazy, waking up and running around the most beautiful surroundings and eating delicious local foods! Well there have been a few hiccups... Drinking endless amounts of coffee and eating organic sea salt ice cream...yes sounds odd but quite delicious!

I am a strong believer that everything you do in life, every action leads to a reaction that was meant to happen. To live a holistic life in The Sanctuary, to be surrounded by yoga, meditation, reflection, raw foods, clean living, love, peace and the chance to help cleanse and be cleansed in a creative, positive and equal environment is to be honest something I have been searching for for what feels like forever.
