Volunteer Sanctuary from Elysia Vetter
(Seattle, WA U.S)
Recently I got accepted to do an independent study with my Psychology professor for my winter quarter and decided I want to use this opportunity to volunteer in Latin America. Immediately I was so excited and my mind started racing with ideas and how I could maximize my journey. I decided I must try and volunteer in both Mexico and either Nicaragua or Costa Rica, doing soul searching and giving back to a community in need. This leads me to finding the site for The Sanctuary and I kept returning. I knew I must apply for volunteering to do some soul searching here. Hoping to return here and tell you more after completing my journey and volunteer experience.
If you would like to help Elysia with her intention to volunteer at The Sanctuary, we invite you to visit our sharing page, then come back here and write a comment at the bottom of this page telling us the ways in which you have shared.
Doing this will help The Sanctuary to become/remain sustainable and therefore to be able to continue to offer volunteer opportunities. Click the picture below to open our Global Healing Center Sharing Page in a new window.
