Hello. I'm Nora, from Hungary. I started to dance at 9 years old, "jazz-Ballet” style..

in 2002 I got an invitation to be a part of a professional traditional Latin American dance group. In 2005 I began to teach salsa.

In 2007 although I had it all (good job, relationship and health) I started to feel unbalanced, so I began to practice yoga I recently received my yoga instructor certificate.

My yoga studies are really helping me to have a clear vision to more easily find what is the next step not just in dance but in my life.

Especially now that Swing music as well as Yoga has come into fashion again I feel a huge interest in practicing this joyful, extravagant and expressive dance style from a whole new perspective!  So with the help of the wisdom that the Yogic attitude can add to it, I truly believe that lindy hop can bring Magic and Change to anybody who is open to it!

In 2009 I fell in love with Swing dances like the Lindy Hop and the Charleston.  

I love dancing at parties, teaching and performing occasionally and experiencing the transformation that the musicality and the rhythm can give. Although competition is not my thing I also participated in some competitions and I learnt that "it’s really not about the winning it is the journey”

Schedule & Content for the
Pure Power of Dance Workshop

Learn how to dance basics of Swing,  solo Jazz, Charleston, Lindy Hop. Experience the transformation that Musicality and Rhythm can give. 

Join Dance & Yoga teacher Nora Ratz  to empower yourself through the joyful and energetic styles these Dances have to offer!

Each class lasts 90 minutes 

Classes on Saturday and Sunday:

5 - 6:30 pm & 7:30- 9 pm

Saturday "Charleston Rhythm - Fundamental & Fun”     

 Classes: 5.00 pm – 6.30 pm & 7.30 – 9.00 pm

  • practice Musicality and  Rhythm with Fundamental Movements
  • Charleston vs. Charleston” the Step vs.The Dance Basic steps on Charleston Rhythm
  • Side by Side steps
  • Choreography
  • + 30 minutes of Flex&Relax (only for All Inclusive )

Sunday “Introducing: The TripleStep”        

Classes: 5.00 pm – 6.30 pm & 7.30 – 9.00 pm

  • Lindy Hop : Basic Figures on Triple Steps
  • Putting it All together : switch from Charleston to triple steps
  • Choreography
  • + 30 minutes of Flex&Relax (only for All Inclusive )

What is the Cost?

1 class: 150 pesos
2 classes: 275 pesos

All Inclusive-4 classes: 500 pesos (w/30 mins of Flex&Relax both days at 9:00 pm)

A non-refundable deposit of 500 pesos is required to reserve your space for the whole workshop or 150 pesos for one class. Payment can be made in cash at The Sanctuary, or by Paypal (plus 4% processing fee). The balance (if any) is due just before the start of workshop based on count above.

Minimum 3 people required to run the workshop. If The Sanctuary cancel due to only 1 or persons signing up then the deposit will be refunded in full.
